St. Albert Potters Guild

Founded in 1962 as part of the original St. Albert Arts & Crafts Guild, our first home was the basement of the community hall, moving in 1968 to a portable quonset hut, and in 1984, moved to the Visual Arts wing of St. Albert Place.

It is the goal of the St. Albert Potters Guild to foster a creative space for potters of all skill levels and interests, with a sharing knowledge and camaraderie. Volunteerism & mentorship play important roles in our environment. Through hands-on demonstration workshops, along with lots of practice, we continue to grow and promote the art of ceramics.

We are proud to participate in the city’s many celebrations, including contributing our time and skill to creating public art, as well as supporting many charitable organizations by offering artwork or raising funds.

The annual Potters Spring Sale is held the weekend before Mother’s Day and each November we join many artisans to participate in the annual Country Craft Fair.

Limited to 60 members, applications are considered each September.
